Dr. Adrian Borg
Dr. Adrian Borg graduated from Adelaide University in 1994. He is interested general health, in problems of the ageing, diabetes and asthma. Dr. Borg consults 4 days per week.
The Clinic participates in a training program through GPEx, for educating doctors who plan a future in general practice. Dr. Adrian Borg is an accredited trainer through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. The training registrars rotate every 6 months.
Dr. John Salagaras
Dr. John Salagaras graduated from Adelaide University in 1987. Special interests are women’s health, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, minor procedures. He consults 3 ½ days per week, later on a Thursday, and also consults at a residential care facility.
Due to personal beliefs he does not refer for abortions, routine infant circumcisions or prescribe the morning after pill.
Dr. Rose Tiong
Dr. Rose Tiong graduated from Adelaide University and has worked in as a GP in the Gawler area for many years. Her interests include general health, women’s health and paediatrics. Dr. Tiong consults every Tues and Thurs.
Dr. Emad Ehsan
Dr. Emad Ehsan consults 4 ½ days per week. Dr. Ehsan also works for Gawler GP Inc at Gawler Health Service. Dr. Ehsan has a special interest in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment having studied dermatoscopy and advanced skin cancer at the University of Queensland. He also consults at a local residential care facility.
Dr. Estelle Smit
Dr. Estelle Smit joined the practice in 2009 and has settled in Gawler easily with her family. Her interests are general health including but not limited to asthma and diabetes, paediatrics and women’s health. She has a special interest in skin cancer checks and procedures. Dr. Smit consults 4 days per week.
Dr. Jaswinder Kaur
Dr. Jas Kaur has extensive general practice experience. Her interests include women’s health, including Mirena insertion, and Child health (having a diploma in child health). Particular interest in nutritional and holistic/integrative medicine (mind body medicine and whole person approach). She consults 2½ days per week, later on Thursdays, and regularly works in Gawler GP Inc at Gawler Health Service Casualty and Emergency Department. Dr. Kaur also consults at a local residential care facility.
Dr. Sau Peng Cheah
Dr. Cheah has joined the practice in 2013 and has settled in Gawler. She consults 4 ½ days per week. Her interests are general health, including women’s health, skin conditions and travel medicine. She visits patients at a residential care facility weekly.
Dr. Elaine Rodgers
Dr. Elaine Rodgers has many years’ experience as a General Practitioner. Dr. Rodgers has a special interest in Women’s Health and is trained in Mirena insertion. She likes to develop a relationship with her patients and follow them on their healthcare journey. She consults 4 days per week.
Dr Kirsten Due
Dr. Kirsten Due and her husband live in the Barossa Valley. Kirsten graduated in 2004 from Flinders University, South Australia. Since that time she has worked as a country GP – including with the Flying Doctors. She holds a Diploma in Palliative Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and the Certificate in Primary Care Dermatology.
Dr. Due’s main area of expertise is skin medicine and surgery including dermatitis and chronic wound care. She consults 3 days per week.
When there is need Kirsten occasionally works in remote Aboriginal communities including throughout the Tanami desert, Alice Springs and East Arnhem Land.
Dr. Due does not prescribe medication leading to intentional pregnancy terminations or “miscarriage”.
Dr. Sandra Marshall
Dr. Sandra Marshall has a special interest in children’s health and Children with learning difficulties, as well as adolescent health. She is also interested in preventative health.
She consults 2 mornings a week.
Dr. Samantha Davis – Registrar
Dr Davis graduated at Adelaide University in 2017. She spent two years working at Lyell McEwin Hospital and Modbury Hospital. She commenced general practice training at the start of 2020 and is developing interests in paediatrics, women’s health, mental health, skin conditions and general medicine. She is currently completing further qualifications in paediatrics through the University of Sydney Child Health Program.
