Dr Josiah Salagaras is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Josiah completed his medical training through the University of Adelaide and went on to spend his hospital training at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, with general experience including Paediatrics and Psychiatry followed by a year in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Josiah is committed to providing holistic, longitudinal care to patients built on the belief that a mutually trusting and respectful doctor-patient relationship is fundamental to the core of General Practice.
Josiah enjoys and is fascinated by the broad scope of General Practice but has a particular passion for all aspects of Women’s Health, especially pregnancy and postpartum care, as well as Mental Health, Child Health, and Men’s Health.
Josiah is a GP Obstetric Shared Care provider as well as being accredited in insertion and removal of implanons and mirenas/kyleenas.
When not in the clinic, you can find him in the garden, at the gym, singing anything from Taylor Swift to The Cat Empire, with his nose in a book or getting involved in the local activities of the Greek Orthodox Church in SA.”
