Doctors

Dr. John Salagaras

Dr. John Salagaras graduated from Adelaide University in 1987. Special interests are Men’s Health, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, minor procedures.

He consults 4 days per week, later on a Thursday.

Due to personal beliefs he does not refer for abortions, routine infant circumcisions or prescribe the morning after pill.

Dr. Emad Ehsan

Dr. Emad Ehsan is an experienced GP with a special interest in skin cancer checks and surgery, chronic disease management and geriatric care.

He is passionate about preventative health.

Dr. Ehsan focuses on early detection, tailored treatment plans and patient-centred care to improve long-term health outcomes.

Dr. Adrian Borg

Dr. Adrian Borg graduated from Adelaide University in 1994. He is interested general health, in problems of the ageing, diabetes and asthma.

Dr. Borg consults 4 days per week.

The Clinic participates in a training program through RACGP, for educating doctors who plan a future in general practice. Dr. Adrian Borg is an accredited trainer through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

The training registrars rotate every 6 months.

Dr. Sau Peng Cheah

Dr Cheah joined Gawler Medical Clinic in 2013 and has settled in Gawler. She consults 4 days per week.

Her area of interests are:

General Health, Women’s Health and is currently undertaking more specific training in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Elaine Rodgers

Dr. Elaine Rodgers has many years’ experience as a General Practitioner.

Dr. Rodgers has a special interest in Women’s Health and is trained in Mirena insertion.

She likes to develop a relationship with her patients and follow them on their healthcare journey.

She consults 4 days per week.

Dr. Sandra Marshall

Dr Sandra Marshall graduated from Flinders University in 1990 .

She then worked in England and Melbourne for several years before returning to complete her Fellowship of General Practice and has been at Gawler Medical Clinic since 2002.

Dr Marshall has a Diploma in Child Health.

Her interests include all aspects of General Practice, Preventative Medicine; Weight loss Medicine ; Diabetes; Women’s Health and Paediatrics. She also offers anti-wrinkle injections.

Dr. Josiah Salagaras

Dr Josiah Salagaras is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Josiah completed his medical training through the University of Adelaide and went on to spend his hospital training at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, with general experience including Paediatrics and Psychiatry followed by a year in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Josiah is committed to providing holistic, longitudinal care to patients built on the belief that a mutually trusting and respectful doctor-patient relationship is fundamental to the core of General Practice.

Josiah enjoys and is fascinated by the broad scope of General Practice but has a particular passion for all aspects of Women’s Health, especially pregnancy and postpartum care, as well as Mental Health, Child Health, and Men’s Health.

Josiah is a GP Obstetric Shared Care provider as well as being accredited in insertion and removal of implanons and mirenas/kyleenas.
When not in the clinic, you can find him in the garden, at the gym, singing anything from Taylor Swift to The Cat Empire, with his nose in a book or getting involved in the local activities of the Greek Orthodox Church in SA.”

Dr. Iqbal Muhamad

Dr. Iqbal Muhamad graduated from Otago University, New Zealand, and is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP).

He is committed to providing holistic, patient-centred care, with particular interests in general medicine, family medicine, men’s health, chronic disease management, children’s health, and diabetes management.

Known for his approachable manner and genuine compassion, Dr. Muhamad strives to build strong, lasting relationships with his patients and their families.

He consults four days per week, with a long day on Thursday.

Dr. Rose Tiong

Dr. Rose Tiong graduated from Adelaide University and has worked in as a GP in the Gawler area for many years.

Her interests include general health, women’s health and paediatrics.

Dr. Tiong consults every Tues and Thurs.
